Polari Mission


Exploring evolving LGBT language & culture.

Join us on Friday the 18th October 2013 10-6pm for this ‘fantabulosa’ day long event exploring the evolving LGBT languages, cultures and heritage with talks from artists Jez Dolan and Joseph Richardson alongside Paul Baker Professor of English Language (Lancaster University), Neil McKenna (award winning author of 'Fanny and Stella’), Clare Summerskill (Lesbian comedienne & writer).

With presentations from Polari Mission playwright, from Chris Hoyle and archivist, Matthew Schofield.

Also, throughout the day, there will be excerpts from the Polari Mission performance LIVE!
